What is an
End-of-Life Doula?

An end-of-life doula offers a comforting, non-medical presence of support during one of life’s most challenging transitions. From ensuring the dying person’s wishes are honored to empowering loved ones to be fully present. Our role is to provide a holistic approach to the end of life, complementing traditional care methods.

Meet Mariclare

Your compassionate guide
Mariclare McCann, BSN, RN, the heart and soul behind Grace in Death, brings a unique blend of empathy, expertise, and understanding to her role as an end-of-life doula. She has years of experience in hospital and hospice care with a deeply personal calling to this work. She grew up in a large family of 9 and, over the years, has been at the bedside of her Mother, Father, and Brother as they took their last breath.

Mariclare guides individuals and families through the profound journey of life’s final chapter with her dedicated efforts. Her approach is rooted in compassion, respect for each person’s journey, and a commitment to providing holistic, non-medical support during this pivotal time.
